8TH CLASS - GROUP 01 - PRESENTATIONS AND MOTIVATION STRATEGIES THAT WORK TO WRITE

Today:
1) We finished the Writer's Porftolio Presentations.
2) You brainstormed 10 ideas of motivational stragegies that work for you as a writer. We used these questions for ideas:
What do you do to inspire yourself? Where do you write best? What do you do when you get writer's block (difficulty coming up with ideas)? What strategies do you use? What do you say to yourself? How do you handle harsh criticism from another person about your writing? What authors inspire you and why? When you get an assignment you don't like how do make sure you complete it? You shared your answers in pairs then picked one for the whole class, after.
If you missed class: Come up with your 10 ideas, tell them to a friend, then hand them in.
Next class September 21 (Day 4): You will receive your presentation and strategy evaluations.

If you missed class: I have two things you need to create your Writer's Portfolio. Please see me ASAP.
Next class September 15 (Day 10): The front cover should be complete and brought to class. Before then, you need to do something else: think about strategies that work for you to write.
