Today:
1) We had a language lesson on supporting sentences.
2) You picked 3 leads/topic sentences you wrote from last class.
3) You wrote 4-5 supporting sentences for each lead/topic sentence you chose.
4) We had a language lesson on closing sentences.
5) You wrote a closing sentence at the end of your above work, so
6) The end result looked like 3 paragraphs. Each paragraph had a lead, 4-5 supporting sentences, and a closing sentence.
7) You read your paragraphs to your peers focusing on volume and slow pacing.
8) You had a language lesson on the thesis statement of persuasive essays.
