Today:
1) We finished the research presentations.
2) We discussed how your research is building your knowledge for your essays.
3) We had a language lesson on lead/topic sentences.
4) You created 10 topic sentences about anything.
5) You edited your parnter's topic sentences making sure it a) introduces a topic, b) states an opininon, c) lets the reader know supporting evidence/proof is to follow.
6) You handed that work in.
If you missed class: Copy the missed notes from your "go to" person, complete the assignment, have them edit it, and hand it in to me. If you have any questions, see me ASAP. There is also homework for tomorrow (below).
Next class Thursday, October 8 (Day 6): You need to have more research about your person (for the essay) completed and brought to class.
